OpenCycle has a home: opencycle.net

The simulator now lives at opencycle.net. Old links redirect, nothing you saved is lost, and the move came with a batch of things a product needs when it stops being an experiment.

Coaching connections

If a coach or a training platform plans your workouts, OpenCycle can now receive them: connect an account and a planned session lands in the app ready to ride, sized to your FTP, with ERG targets if your trainer holds power. Rides still save to your machine as .fit files, so your log stays wherever you keep it.

Six languages

OpenCycle now speaks English, Deutsch, Français, Español, Italiano and Nederlands — the whole app, not just the buttons. Numbers, units and decimal commas follow your locale too, which matters more than it sounds when you are typing an FTP on a French keyboard.

The boring pages

Real products say what they do with your data and on what terms. Ours now do, in plain language and short sentences: terms and privacy. The short version has not changed: the simulator is free, and your rides are yours.

More is close behind — the next post is about riding real courses from GPX files. In the meantime: go for a ride.
